Automated distribution centers run on thousands of devices, drives and cable runs that all have to be right on start-up day. That is the only work we do, so our crews know it.
We work for the integrators and contractors who build these systems, on their schedule and to their standards. Our crews travel to the site, stay for the full install and hand over a system ready to commission. When a project needs more hands, we can mobilize up to 100 electricians and mechanical installers.
How we got here
- 2023
FV Electric is founded to give automation integrators a dedicated electrical installation partner. First project: a department-store distribution center in North Carolina, peaking at 27 electricians.
- 2024
Crews expand to the West Coast and Missouri on footwear and apparel e-commerce distribution centers.
- 2025
Headquarters moves to Indianapolis, with warehouse space for customer materials. Work grows to Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. Sigma Mechanical Group is formed for mechanical installation.
- 2026
Projects across Minnesota, Iowa, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York and the West Coast, including automated retail store logistics.
